Kevin Van Hise is a Director and Shareholder with the firm. He joined Mason, Griffin & Pierson, P.C. as an Associate in 2004 and became a Director/Shareholder in 2013. Kevin is the Chairperson of the firm’s Local Government Law Practice Group and member of the firm’s LitigationPractice Group. Kevin focuses his practice in the areas of litigation, local government law, zoning law, land use law and affordable housing compliance.

Mason, Griffin & Pierson, P.C. has worked closely with numerous municipalities since its founding in 1955. The Local Governmental Law attorneys are capable of handling the wide range of diverse and complex legal issues that challenge local governmental entities. Kevin has represented several municipalities and zoning boards in New Jersey. He has extensive experience with and knowledge of municipal government organization and regulations, in particular zoning and planning issues, ordinance preparation, enforcement issues, sewer capacity issues, developer and other agreements, counsel to engineers and zoning officers and coordination of affordable housing projects.

Kevin’s professional distinctions include serving as Law Clerk to the Honorable Paul Innes, J.S.C. and to the Honorable Charles A. Delehey, J.S.C. and as a member in the New Jersey Institute of Local Government Attorneys and the Mercer County Bar Association. His community involvement includes several years of service on the Lawrence Township Public Schools Board of Education and the Lawrence Township Affordable Housing Board
